Thread: How I feel about Orr, what about you?

How I feel about Orr, what about you?

I am going to let the words of another poster do the talking:

I don't hate Orr but I would not mind sharing this same thought

"Orr, it’s annoying in the sense of unhooking your computer tower, throwing it out the window and taking up a life of Amish tech-celibacy."

Kuddos, that is how I feel
Jhn 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

that seems a bit extreme. You have provided very little information to discuss with which to discuss anything with.

    hense,

    This thread is wasted space

Have you explored Orr the 3 zones?

Yes I have quite a bit. 100% on all 3. While I find traveling alone a bit annoying. This is because there are a LOT of mob spawns and they just dont stop coming. The events are ok. Some I would even dare say fun. I only wish they had better drop rates for exotics. I mainly camp the grenth event when its bugged for the super easy loot.

I neither love, or hate it.

I agree. Just quoting someone who's already posted the same thing on this forum and have that be the basis of your thread without actually putting any of your own thoughts and reasons also in the mix does seem a bit of a waste of a new thread.

OP - If you'd care to add WHY you feel that Orr is "annoying", then that might be a better basis for a thread. Because as it stands just creating a thread that says "X zone is annoying" without giving any reasons or any other information just seems like a waste of space.

I freaking love Orr. It was such a brilliant design choice, especially for an MMO. I've been running the content for 2 months now so it's stale but that was to be expected. It actually feels like the final level of a true RPG. When you first get there it's hard, the enemies stomp your face in until you get used to it, they constantly attack you around every corner and there are very few waypoints and safe camps that you can sit around without having to defend them. Very similar to the lack of save points as you near the end of a real game.

Of course, this makes the common MMO player angry because they can't walk around with their super-amazing-take-no-damage-epics and it essentially replaced Raiding, but whatevs. New things are good things.

I'm with Fey. I like Orr. I also have 100% completion there and have spent tons of time there if that actually means anything. lol I have no issues running around on my own but I do have a hard time with some of the Champs.

I honestly think it could be a bit harder. I would LOVE it if I was FORCED (or at least felt more pressure) to move through it with an adventuring party. (not sarcasm)

I have 100% completion there, but it still makes me frustrated. I don't die, but I get tired of getting yanked around like a yoyo after awhile. I like the atmosphere (it's very pretty) I like that waypoints are often contested etc. But the amount of pulls and CC they gave to every mob is just exhausting after a stint there.

Much prefer Frostgorge Sound. Fewer ori nodes, but it's beautiful and makes a great change of pace when you need a break.

I don't see why people complain about Orr so much. Yeah it was a huge pain in the rear end but it's the last map, it's not supposed to be a joke like the rest of the maps. I solo'd it on my guardian no problem.

...Because if's a huge pain in the rear end. Nobody's saying it's not doable, just that it's not fun.
