If I could sum up my experience with Orr it would probably be "annoying". I really haven't had much fun there and I actually avoid it as much as possible. Risen are just too fast and obnoxious. There are also a lot of bots around that area that really ruins the experience, or what there is of it.

Yeah, there are a lot of events, but it seems like a lot of them are broken whenever I go there. Which isn't a game-killer for me, but it is a bit disheartening. Though I realize the scripting of those events is probably pretty complicated.

All-in-all, I prefer staying out of that area all-together. I do love running dungeons though, and I make quite a bit of gold and karma from doing so. Not only that but I also get tokens for unique armor and weapons. So to me, I'd rather just run dungeons as many times as I need to than farm in Orr all day.

I'm just the opposite of you. In find dungeons mostly annoying, and I enjoy running Orr. That's the strength of the game. No one is forced to do anything, you can make your own end game.

For me there is fun challenging and annoying challenging. Running Orr alone? Annoying. In a group? Fun.

Generally though the one thing I really don't like, and this actually applies to the entire game, is how knock downs and pulls and dazes etc. can be applied to you over and over with no breathing time in between. To me this isn't a challenge, it's a flaw in the game mechanics. If I have five enemies around me, and one knocks me down, and then before I can get up another knocks me down, and this continues until I'm dead? That's not a "challenge" or fun, there was nothing I could do. I couldn't dodge, I couldn't run. I feel if you've been knocked down, there should be 2 seconds after you get up that you're immune to any other knock downs or pulls. This would allow you to escape or get your footing again.

Any time a game presents you with a problem for which there is no solution, to me that's broken.

It really takes me back to when I would play fighting games, and the other person would spam the same move over and over and I couldn't move. It's infuriating.

Orr is to me annoying, specially when I do solo runs, I have not been able to finish exploring all Orr because some POI and Vistas and skill points seem to be unsoloable, big champion in one with 3 vets around, total nightmare.

Can you apply stability? Other utilities/skills that ignore stuns/knockdowns, etc? If this happens (however rarely), I just pop armor of earth and get 6 or 8 seconds of stability as well as 33% reduction in damage...then I proceed to spank the risen. Its been a while since I've been in Orr after I 100% it since I don't PVE anymore but you have to spec right for the area and the enemies there if they give you trouble.

I couldn't agree more. If you're ambushed by a group of 4 or 5 mobs all with knockdown or stun being spammed at you there is absolutely nothing you can do. You'll be dead before you can do anything at all. You're right, when there is no solution it's broken. This might not be such an issue if the spawn times in this game weren't also a bit messed up. Some areas the spawn times are crazy fast and makes being alone almost impossible in those areas. I play around 2-4 am server time and it's usually pretty dead at those times. Getting through certain areas at that time of night/morning is a nightmare with the crazy knockdown spams some mobs have and the super fast re-spawn times that many of the mobs have. It's almost like they are trying to force you to group up in some of the zones. I hope that's not the case, as I don't want to be forced to group.

Ummm...stability? Its not broken if there is a way to deal with it. Maybe your class doesn't have a way to get stability but Im guessing that you prob do.
