How I feel about Orr, what about you?

Well I hope you don't run a tanky build like me because the devs ARE talking about nerfing us. I'm super sad.

I play a Ranger and a warrior. I dont know how to play an elementalist, I started one and delete it when it reached 20

Are you nicely geared out? This is the first itme I've head of a warrior having trouble in Orr personally.

I know what the problems are. I asked if you're nicely geared out? (all exotics that synergize) Superior runes that work with your build? Right sigils on weapons? At least a decent build and trait? Right utility skills for the area?

My biggest problem with Orr right now is I'm trying to buy Melandru's set and the Karma vendor is never open because my server doesn't kill Melandru often enough. Seems they're ALWAYS doing Arah runs instead.

Orr is terrible if you're alone, and it's wonderful if you're not. I think the fact that the end-game zones are so punishing that you can't even go there without friends is awesome.

I dont have the money to buy any of that and also I was told by someone whose initial is "V" that in GW2 you dont need that to play, we dont need superdoopler armors etc etc.

Also I dont know what is exotic that synergize, dunno what are superior runes or how to get them and dont know what are sigils either, I have not seen any of those or have any drop of those items.

So to get this straight we need to do like in WoW to be able to do Orr? Are we suppose to farm for mats? grind to get some super elite armor? What happened with you can craft stuff better than drops?

So basically at level 80 this is another grindfest?

is there out there some website where I can go and check out what I need for my Ranger and Warrior and how I suppose to obtain those items?

You can grind Karma, mats, and drops using the 3 or 4 events near the "tunnel" in Orr at Penitent Path.

It's pretty much where everyone farms in this game. I actually find it annoying that the farmers won't come when called to events near there like Arah and Melandru.

No it's not like WoW. I'm sure you've gotten dozens of drops with sigils and such as you just never used the right salvage kit to try to salvage them. Or craft them yourself...it's not that hard.

Yeah sigils and runes can be salvaged or bought or crafted. They make a big difference and if you want to do end game contect you dont NEED them...you're going to Orr and doing it, its just harder. If you want an EASIER time, you make the right build. The fact that you don't know these things makes me think your build is also suboptimal.

And all of this is OK, I'm not trying to give you a hard time, I'm just pointing out that there are things you aren't doing that can make a huge difference in how easier the content is. I have fully exotic gear (every piece) with the exact stats I want, exact superiror runes I want and the very best weapons sigil for my build as well as jewel level upgrades on my accessories. That's because I WvW and don't want to have a gear disadvantage against another geared out player...trust me, these things help.

You don't need to grind or work THAT hard for them...it take s a little while but they can be gotten fairly easy. I wish you luck.

The "WoW" grind is the explorable dungeon grind for various tokens. Except unlike WoW once you finish that grind you're done, and you'd only ever need to pick one set to farm unless you want all of them. Like I do. ><

You can gear up however you want, though.
