I think he means Hardcore by definition Mayito, which basically means people will be less tolerant with you on a server that is populated with more Hardcore/Elitist players.

A different server may greatly increase your playing experience.

Ah OK, yes I am thinking about changing servers and finding a more family type guild.

Sooo... I'm still struggling to see how players' actions are somehow ArenaNet's fault.

First off, no, GW2 didn't say it was going to eliminate elitism, though elitists who base it on your gear are probably actually bad themselves. The early explorable modes can be completed undergeared and well under 80.

We criticize WoW because of the grind to obtain better armor pieces, guess what you have to do the same in GW2, more stealthy do, but you still have to grind and before you V and others say you dont need, read again the requirements for the elite armors 450000 karma points, 500 skill points, 250 of this and 250 of that and 1000 plus use of the forge, gimme a freaking break is that is not grind what the hell is?
Legendaries (where you're pulling the Forge + skillpoints from) are no different statistically from regular exotics. The grind is for the look, not the stats. Same with the karma gear; you can buy gear with equivalent stat budgets off the trading post for a gold or two.

And dont give me the BS you dont need those armors
You don't need the armors. Do they speed things up? Yes, but you don't need them.

because this topic is a proof that people are expecting anyone going in a dungeon to be full geared and full spec and full weapons etc etc etc (The same BS from WoW, if you dont have this you cant enter the dungeon, the same BS in RIFT and in many other games)
It's not remotely the same. In some games you literally cannot zone in without certain gear reqs and that's largely because things are gated by gear. That doesn't happen here. However, if you join what's advertised as a "speed run" when you don't know what you're doing / are very undergeared, that is inconsiderate of you.

All this nonsense about pugs requiring legendaries (no no no no, never in a million years would that happen unless you're being trolled), about how much karma it takes to get exotics is just more of you making a deliberately inflammatory post while showcasing how much you don't know what you're talking about.

Haven't you gotten tired of that yet? I sure have.

Did you bother to check the link and see how many players have been tossed out of dungeons because they dont have the right equipment, you may well dont need the armors but so far seems like what you are saying it is not happening, more and more players are denied the right to take part in dungeons because they dont have the special exotic gear and cannot join because of that.

And that has absolutely nothing to do with ArenaNet. Your whole post is ridiculous. They also have no way of knowing what your gear is, so if you pull your weight, they'll never know the difference.

I'm not saying a few random people out there don't suck, I'm saying unless Anet becomes the mind police there's nothing they can do to stop that, so the premise of blaming them is as ridiculous as all your others.

It doesn't annoy me that you don't know what you're talking about. It annoys me that you don't, but make alarmist threads pretty much daily (despite not having a clue what you're talking about) and refuse to learn any better.

What if I was wearing low-level armor with exotic skins (due to transmutation)?

I dunno but for players to demand that you show your gear to see if you qualify for the dungeon is something out of the books of WoW

I am not twisting your arm to force you to post on my topics. Just stay away from them and you will not feel so bad about it. I was reposting something posted several times in GW2 forums that get locked by the mods because they are trying to bury the truth.

Guess what, this game is elitist, has grind and is a waste of money. I suggest you stop playing because it's honestly pretty terrible. I stopped logging on recently because everything is so hard and everyone is out to get me. And I recently heard that AN employees are actualy evil sucubii that feast on player base frustration and skill point bugs.

actually I am playing less now, due to the fact that I have not been able to do any dungeons because of the jerks who want only full exotic geared people to run exp dungeons and dont want to do anything else. I am planning in changing server to see if I can find a friendly guild that does help new players finishing the dungeons.
