Race Specific Guilds ok?

I want a hispanic guild but we will not accept anyone who speaks Spanish.

All I can say is its sad how the person/s who created that guild don't think things through. Since they are African American (though there is a large number of blacks I personally know who hate that term since they trace their lineage to the Caribbean islands and not Africa) I can only imagine how they would react if I created a guild for white people only. Its just stupid. I can understand perhaps a guild for a specific religion, Jewish, Christian, Muslim, Buddist, whatever, as you are doing that to interact with people that share your own morals and values, but race... nope, I just can't understand it.

I've seen guilds who only allow IRL females in, which is so dumb because if most women saw a guild made by males that would only allow males in they would be outraged. I've also seen guilds that only allow gay people in. I've also seen guilds that won't allow anyone under 30 in. I don't know why people want to segregate themselves, it seems pretty unreasonable to me. The world tries to segregate people enough, why would anyone purposefully do it in a game where people go to relax and have fun? Any guild that only allows a small percentage of the gaming population in based on things like what race you are, what sex you are, etc, is, IMO, doing themselves a disservice and farther segregating humans based arbitrary differences.

Variety is the spice of life

Personally I'd rather have as much diversity in a guild as possible - people from all different places, races, ages, backgrounds, sexes, orientations etc. Admitedly I'd rather not be in a guild full of 12 year olds, but one or two I wouldn't mind.
