Crafting idiot?

Okay so I am brand new to the game, however not new to mmo's. Am I just not figuring out this crafting thing or what? I have Weaponsmith and armorsmith, in my bank and inventory I have copper ore, tin, totems, claws, bone chips, mystic coin, coal, wood logs, jute thread, glittering dust vials of weak blood, and venom sacs. When I go into the armorsmithing station, under discovery, the only items there are the vials of blood and dust, both of which are tinted red. Where are the other materials? Then I go to the weaponsmithing station and the only thing in that discovery pane is the dust, not tinted red. I have googled and read and I still can't seem to figure this out. What am I too blind to realize here?

What level is your Weaponsmithing and Armorsmithing?
