Heh... just figured it out! It means the skill can't be used underwater. If there's no X on it, it means they can be used underwater. At least, I'm pretty sure that's what it means =)

You're correct, the raindrop with the X means it can't be used underwater. Anything that doesn't have that icon, does work underwater.
I inevitably misjudge distance in those situations and think, "I've got room for Burning Speed!" and speed right on off the cliff. It's happened often enough I should know better, but I am always the eternal optimist, lol.
Did have a a fun 2v1 against an ele + warrior last time I was in WvW (haven't had much time to play last couple of days). Downed the warrior first and that ele left him high and dry for a cow finisher. Same tag, too, so I bet somebody was cranky in guild chat afterward.

Hey, they changed the music for the character select screen. That's odd, it sounds so similar just a bit different. Why would they do that? Actually, is it different? I don't know, it really sounds different for some reason. Oh, I forgot to plug my headphones in, and the sound is coming through the speakers.

Yesterday I'm running around slapping yaks in WvW's deep in enemy territory so I have my highly mobile set up (my non fighting one)...I kill a few yaks and for one of them, it's guarded by 2 players...I run in, ognore them and just attack the yak...and I kill it before they can kill me and just start running. Well the one player gives up after a while, but the mesmer would not stop chasing me and chased me for MORE than half the map (from their side almost to the north most camp)....
Now she thought I was running because I was scared of her mesmer badassness, but I just wanted to get out of combat and switch my utilities..and as soon as I did I just turned around...and after a decent fight (but not terribly close) I stomped her. And maybe that wasn't even post worthy in this thread if ALMOST THE EXACT same thing didn't happen like half an hour later with two sub 80's chasing me close to the SAME SPOT which just made me laugh for some reason; so I change, stop, and kill them both. Did I dance on their corpses? I did and I don't feel bad about it.
I am wondering if there are any threads that you havent posted how awesome you are at pvp in. I think I speak for all of us when I say "We get it, your awesome, top 1% n shit"
Wvw is just for zerging and ganking noobs. Sorry Im just not as impressed about it that kind of environment
I tihnk there was a thread in offtopic about some movie where I posted about Highlander instead. I mean, granted, the Highlander is awesome, I'm awesome, so it's KINDA related but it doesn't meet the technical standards you set forth.
And, think about it. I pvp...so my storiest about GW2 are going to be PvP - only seems logical. And I'm not going to post about the times I played poorly...so if I post, it'll be stories about PvP where I do well. Are you also suprised how people seem to play really well in pvp videos they put up on youtube as well?

ETA: And this was more of a "funny" story because of the scanario happening twice in the same day when it normally never happens. That's was the post worthy part. Back to my bragadocious nature...I've got WAY better stories of me in PvP if you think I'm trying to post that.
