I'd thought I would share this that I discovered yesterday cause I hear a lot of people saying they want a LFG option in chat or something. Well in your contact tab (Y is the hotkey) you can change your status to invisible, away, online or Looking for Group. LFG turns your normally green icon for online blue and their is a tab in the contacts to see other people around you that are looking for a group.
Not sure if this has been in since day one and I just missed it or if it was slipped in under the radar and I missed it then, but I thought it was niffty and I hope more people become aware of it and use it when LFGs.
thats still no where as efficient as gw2lfg.com. that site is amazing. less than 5 minutes to put together any group you want. try it.
True. I rarely lfg's if I see someone else looking and it's something I think I need or want to try I'll jump in. I just wanted to let people know there is an ingame option that seems to have been overlooked by many, myself included.
