I could not agree more. It should not cost money. It should have been at least 500 badges and X amount of things taken, defended, kills, escorts, siege build/destroyed, supply used etc. To you know...show you understand how WvW works and not how the TP works. At this point I honestly hope that the Feb/Mar updates produce some VIABLE titles and non gear progression or I will prob move on to another game. Not because I'm rage quitting but because pop in WvW is dropiing for one and the current titles I am working for would take somewhere between 5-10 years to complete even for somebody that plays as much as I do. So that's a little hard to take if unchanged.

I totally agree. Last night there were 7 (SEVEN!!!) commanders on our BL. That's ridiculous because I didn't know 4 of them AND you should turn your tag off so there is coordination with 2-3 commanders tops. My guild was on and we had 4 people on who were commanders (counting me) and all of us had our tag off because it isn't an epeen, it's a tool to use to organize your server, not so you can come from PVE and throw down 2 regular rams while cannons and oil is still up and yell build. Pro level stuff bro.

This was from a few months ago. I forget when lol, before Novemeber when I got my new pc for sure though cause it as a screenshot from my old pc's stuff. But yeah there are 7 at once lol.
Most of the time it isn't that bad for us. And our good commanders will come into the map see what's going on, see if they are needed and either turn on their tag, join in with another commander or go to another map where no commander is and try and organize things. But then our bad commanders will jump on with tag on and shout in map or team chat rally to me come stack on me, when half the time we are seiging something or desperatly trying to hold something.

Well what happens when almost everyone has affor4ded their commander tag? That kinda eliminates the idea of structure. Are you all captains at that point or peons?
It's really not that big of a deal. It'll be just like epic mounts in vanilla WoW. If you had one everyone was like "Oh my god! Look at that mount!" it was a big deal for a long time. But then everyone got them and people stopped caring about it. If that ever happens and there are mass amounts of commander tags, the community will stop caring about people that have them and find alternative means of organization.
Except you know, less eye candy and more arguing.
Anyone know if the elementalist skill "Lightning Flash" will break you out of a root? Not the general immobilize/stub...but those stoopid annoying wooden roots? Those last forever and are the DD elementalist bane and I haven't gotten a chance to test it. Its not on my bar currently but I would throw it in if it would get me out of beeing rooted. TIA
Not sure myself. I know those roots continueingly reapply immobilize and even removing condition doesn't get you out sometimes since it hits you again. On my memsmer the skill blink, a tele skill, gets me free of them. On my thief I hit remove condition and dodge real quick and that gets me out. My guardian that I WvW just laughs swings his greatsword killing them and walks over to the ranger and bites him in the knees (he's an asura) My warrior, 36, I am still working on and right now I just swing away killing them cause he has no condition remover atm (yeah I gotta work on that)
