I just respeced my Guardian and decided to pick up Retributive Armor form the Valor trait line. It is supposed to take 5% of my total toughness and provide it as a bonus to precision. Let me break down my problem into steps so hopefully someone can help:
First off I'm level 60; I paid to reset all my stat points to zero and I started by putting 10 points into Valor. I picked up the Retributive Armor skill at this point and I saw my critical hit chance jump from 13% to 16%; from this point I continued to dump points into valor to raise my toughness and now my precision as well, but the problem is I no longer gained any precision points alongside my gain in toughness. Each skill thereafter that point I put into Valor raised my Valor by 10 points, but my precision stats stayed exactly the same; shouldn't I be gaining .5 extra precision points for each skill point? I even maxed out my Valor line anticipating 10 extra precision points but I got nothing extra. Does retributive armor only take 5% of the toughness given from armor alone? Kind of confused here and any help is much appreciated.
