Speaking from someone who has actually been in game. People are really enjoying the new dungeons. There is so much conversing going on in map chat because people are finding new items and recipes. I think the last 3 days have been some of the best. If thats connected to a certain group of player types not being around... Ill leave math to someone better suited for it. But I guess all the negative voices arent around, and the people left are fine.

Doesn't change the fact from the outside looking in A-Net looks like an untrustworthy company with no clear idea of what direction they plan on leading the game.

They spent years promising one thing and then threw it out the window a couple months in. They pissed off a lot of there long time supporters who are being very vocal about their anger and A-Net hasn't done any damage control.

If you don't own the game and you look at the state of it right now it looks like a sinking ship. It's all about appearance and things don't look good to anyone that's not in the game.

Would you really want to buy it at this point?

I certainly don't want everything handed to me. I want to defeat challenges based on skill in playing/planning not because I got a magic doodah after 100 hours spent trying to get it.

@People interested in playing. This is still a great game directed to the casual player. With all games people will be negative if they dont get it their way. Please I beg you to try it for yourselves and ignore the forums. 90% of them are whiners, the remaining 10% is just waiting for their turn to whine.

Gear should be for customizing your build (and your looks if you are into that) not for who decided to spend more time in the salt mines.

I still dont even have full exotics, anet screwed me over, bla,bla, I shouldnt have to get exotic. rare should be the best and it should show up in my mail box....... I fail to see your point of view, hense conversation is lost.

Ever think YOU want something handed to you? You cant beat the content without better gear? Cant beat players in WvW without better gear? Do you s/tPvP?

It's just funny how Ironic your posts are because its the people that want the GRIND that want things handed to them. Because they want to do some content enough of times so its easy, to get better gear to make that content and other easier.

What happened to - have a set of gear and having to work HARD to overcome challenges? Ironic logic is ironic.

ANet didn't screw me over. I'm still playing and thoroughly enjoying it. I've gotten my moneys worth and more out of the game and I look forward to many more hours of enjoyment. If I was looking for freebies from ANet I would have played the weekend events.

That doesn't change the fact that this is a lousy change.

This isn't MY forum and I'm pointing out the flaws in your logic. Sorry you can't deal with that.

And I'm not AWESOME at pvp, I've seen elite elementalists on youtube that are better than I could ever HOPE to be. But I'm pretty good. I just had the feel that you wouldn't be and wouldn't agree to it, showing that on equal footing you're less sure. So you NEED the gear advantage.

You had no problems calling out people and telling them that they want the "Win Now" button and things handed to them and maybe MMO's aren't for them. It's ok for you to call people out but if someone calls you out, it's an issue. Wow.
