And I'm not AWESOME at pvp, I've seen elite elementalists on youtube that are better than I could ever HOPE to be. But I'm pretty good. I just had the feel that you wouldn't be and wouldn't agree to it, showing that on equal footing you're less sure. So you NEED the gear advantage.

You had no problems calling out people and telling them that they want the "Win Now" button and things handed to them and maybe MMO's aren't for them. It's ok for you to call people out but if someone calls you out, it's an issue. Wow.

Come on, really? I'm guessing Frank is not running around in lvl 8 blues. If he has a lvl 80, Im guesing he is (was?) working on exotics. Le's ask him....frank? So he's prob ok (like most people) putting in some work to get the "end game gear" but once he has that, he doesnt want to grind. Thats how I read his post.

But I could be wrong, perhaps he is runing in low level blues and feels you should absolutely do nothing to get gear. But I somehow doubt it.

Hope you don't quit the forums dude, you have to deal with people having strong opinions contrary to yours. I didn't insult you or try to be mean.

I never said that. There's a difference between grind of a hundred hours specifically to get an item and being able to afford it after doing any of a variety of activities.

These kinds of comments are hilarious. Because you already had to grind for exotics. Whether it's crafting, karma, gold, dungeons, of random drops. It's all a grind.

I understand what you are saying. But some things are IMPLIED. When he says it (or when I say it), I'm saying - I don't want CONTINUOUS gear grind. You work/grind for end game gear and then you're DONE. We're anti gear CREEP.

Actually I hardly play my 80 right now. I have some exotic weapons but I think that's it. I'm leveling up 5 characters simultaneously to take advantage of crafting synergies as I go. They are all in the 50-55 range currently. I only get wearable items from drops and crafting, never purchases. The TP takes all the fun out of it as everything is far too cheap. So, hmm, I guess I don't want everything to be free.

The point being I can do what I want with my characters and I'm not forced to do specific content ad nauseam to get what I want.
