Let me know if you find something good because I will need something to fall back on if A-Net doesn't sort their crap out.

I'm starting a replay of Shadows of Undrentide and Hordes of the Underdark, lol. That's right, original Neverwinter Nights. It was my first PC game that wasn't like..hearts. I somehow missed the Baldur's Gate train, but am waiting on the enhanced edition for a co-op runthrough with some RL friends.
Oldies but goodies.Building a viable character is a pain in the bum for NWN if you don't know DnD rules but I usually just ask on the Bioware boards so I don't end up with an unplayable character, lol.

Anyone who enjoys RPG video games but has never played a PnP like D&D seriously needs to try it out. As a seasoned DM (from 3.0/3.5 to 4e) and frequent adventurer (usually in 3.0/3.5, 4e, Star Wars WOTC, or d20 modern), all I can say is that they are crazy fun, and as cool as some video games can be, nothing beats the absolute hilarity and cooperative story telling that comes with the good old fashioned PnP games.

Everyone should just play Chrono Trigger.

Of available MMOs only TSW holds any interest for me at all, followed by Arch Age, if that eventually comes to the west. Not sure of the long term viability of TSW, but it's worth a look if you haven't tried it, at least for the PVe side of things. I can't comment on PvP.
TSW looks interesting, but I will never buy a subscription based game without trying it first... not since Final Fantasy XI have I ever done such a thing, and I don't plan to start again now, lol.![]()

I need to find a game that is the right mix of action and rpg. Something a little closer to gw2 or dcuo that's not p2w. Just to clarify I am not saying gw2 is p2w I just want to avoid games that are.
