official forums overrun with complainers about grind

Yeah.. i was just putting that up there for people who have questions. I thought it averaged the scale, but it doesn't. Everyone would have to play down to the lowest level in the party. If people are just farming for loot, then it works. If they are trying to achieve that lvl 10 and up stuff, it becomes a problem.

I still find PUGs for lvl 1 runs though.. as of today

Personally I'm not really interested in an end game that is just run dungeons over and over, especially an escalating difficulty model that is almost certainly going to lead to elitist play. This will likely make me quit the game earlier than I normally would have unless they come up with alternate ways to get the gear. Not that I'm rage quitting tomorrow or anything.

The gear is JUST for that dungeon though.. The end game content is multifaceted. Dungeons/PVE/PVP.. they are adding to all forms so their are options. There are plenty of other threads going on and on about the gear though.. that bush has been beaten to death.

just got done browsing the official forums and let me say wow. People left and right complaining about the ascended gear and how GW2 wasnt going to be a gear grind and this is a WoW clone. couldn't make it through any of the topics without a ton of Anet hate being thrown around. Players do realize that you have to work for good gear right? I didnt log in today hoping to see legendary skins in my mailbox from Anet. Not sure where all the hate is coming from, but I understand the need for new content and new things players have to work for.

Okay, you should work for the best gear in the game, but getting there shouldn't only entail one route. I remember grinding Orr and even exchanging gems for gold to get my exotics and crafting the jewelry. People can also spend dungeon and WvW badges for the best gear and that's the way it should be.

Come on, I can't take you seriously. I mean if you had The Old Namek or at least Mr. Popo as the avatar I'd listen. But Krillin??? Why don't you just put Yamcha in there and call it a day?

I honestly don't care, but as usual, I am the four-headed, three-winged duck in the room. I won't do anything in a game that I don't find fun, no matter what it is or what the reward is.

Would it help you understand my view if I told you I have little to no care for DBZ or DBGT? As far as the franchise goes, DB was all that is actually any good, imo. DBZ was relatively okay until Goku died... the first time... but from there it went through various levels of stupidity which eventually culminated in DBGT being completely ridiculous.

So yeah... I'll claim the original DB and Yamcha as my favs of the franchise any day.
