    Hunger games

I've been reading these books and they are really good, to put it vaguely. I'm an awful reader so I don't bother getting past page 3 or so unless a book is special. I just finished the second book last night at the expense of sleep (I've slept like 9 hours in the past 4 days). They're also coming out with the first movie here on march 23, so something to look forward to. It looks promising as well (of course novels are always better than movies, but the movie looks promising anyhow). Can't wait to read the third book but I'm so sleepy.

Cool to know. I'm not a big reader myself, but I always love it when you give something a chance and suddenly youre at the end chapter. Dean Koontz has been able to do that with me on several occasions.

I really hate Movie/TV adaptations of books i have read. I try to avoid them as i'm nearly always disappointed.

The movie trailer reminded me of Battle Royal.

I've never really thought about it and I'm wondering... What do yall think is the best PoV for a novel? I noticed this (hunger games trilogy) is first person and present tense. I think harry potter was third person. Twilight is first person (just going through some popular recent ones in my head). Would you say 1st and 3rd are both valid as long as they're both used skillfully? What about tense? Are present and past tense both enjoyable to read?
