Jhn 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
I think my total crafting levels is just under 2500. I have three at 350-400, one at 300+ and the other four around 275. Trying to keep two crafting disciplines that needed the fine crafting mats was difficult when I just had one character. Now it's easy with five going up at the same time.
I've got all of the crafting maxed and purchased everything to do it, I may have spent 50 gold total on all 8.
Strange, I have found myself playing lots more of late. Still don't and wont't craft. Just not my thing. Found a build and with a few other ideas for my thief having such a good time. For me, the skill suggestion really helped me out tons.
Tried just about every combo build I could think off, kept falling back to dual daggers and Dual pistols. Works great for my style of play, really having more fun.
Joined two guilds. If I get stuck on a skill point or whatever, If one guild can't help, or not enough online, normally the other one will and has more online when I need. So I bounce to whatever guild has the most online and can and will help.
Of course will pause the game and break out my level 80 ranger to help anyone that needs it. Have most the map and waypoints done so I can get there quick.
With the thief, I am exploring more of the map, not skipping vista's and will youtube them if I get stuck. Going slower and taking my time.
I haven't really hit any endgame wall since I have too many alts to really have made it all the way through everything yet. I only have one level 80 so far, and she's only at 76% world completion. I've mostly set her aside to work on my other girls right now, but I'll eventually finish her off.
To keep playing in the future (once my many alts are capped), I'd just really enjoy any new exploration maps that come out or seasonal events. I like festival-type things so long as they aren't really grindy or difficult. Like some other players, I'd love to see more cosmetic options, like the ability to show cosmetics in combat and have multiple outfits. LOTRO had a fabulous cosmetic system, so I kind of got used to lots of cool-looking outfits on each character that I could cycle through. That would be fun in GW2. The only other thing I miss from LOTRO is my house, so I'd go for some sort of customizable personal space for my characters here.
I've been watching what people are saying about endgame since I have yet to really get there. I'm a big crafter and have all the crafts, so I find other peoples' comments about crafting at engame interesting. Sounds like getting mats might be kind of challenging on the Orr maps. My crafts are all currently around 250 & 300 and I haven't ever bought a single item off the TP for them so far. I'm kind of hoping that stays true for the second half of all these crafts. I have a lot of alts but not a lot of gold, really. I guess I've got around 26 gold all added up.
I did some research on legendaries since I didn't know much about them. I have to admit my most disappointing moment with this game was learning I'll likely never be able to light up that picture on my character sheet since it takes a lot of dungeons and PvP to get a weapon. I'm in a small guild whose members don't really do dungeons and I haven't really begun PvPing yet and didn't plan on doing too much of it.

It's all cyclic debate, reasoning and semantics with very little merit outside personal choice.
In saying good points have already been raised. My only one is no GvG.PvE is a no-brainer imo, just keep adding new quality content, more-so for the high-end players, and keep the donkeys chasing the carrot. That keeps MMO's ticking. In saying it's also become a highly saturated market...everyone wants to be WoW 2.0 for the bank.
As such there is a lot of bread on offer for way less butter.
As for PvP....they are really starting from scratch when they release a game called "Guild Wars 2" with no actual guild wars...Anet had a REALLY big chance to grab that crowd searching for good MMORPG PvP on release imho.In time they may do it, but at release....rubbish.It was AB...with a tourney mode.
