It is absolutely a ton of fun, and I enjoy it immensely.

At only $60 and with already more than 120 hours of play in 3 weeks, I've got to say that I don't think I've had this much fun for so little cost in some time. As a big movie buff, I'm used to paying about $20 for around 2-3 hours of entertainment now and maybe again every 6-10 months from now (rinse, repeat), but this is amazing! Even other video games can't compare to the fun for cash ratio... Dragon Age: Origins, for example, my favorite game, has given me a good 200 hours of game play over multiple play throughs and the expansions in the 2 and a half years I've had it... but total that game's cost together and it was around $120 for me after all the DLC content was figured in.

So really, 120 hours of game play in 3 weeks for $60 is absolutely fantastic!
And I'm no where even close to being done! I'm not even max level, yet!

This is the best gaming purchase I have made in years!

The last time I had the courage to look, I was at around 700 hours in 60 some odd days. I'd say I got my $60's worth.

It is a phenomenal game and I have said repeatedly that I got more than my moneys worth. I am not happy about the potential problems some changes might bring. But that does not in any way impact the hours of fun Ive had playing the game so far. Anyone complaining they didn't get their moneys worth or should get a refund are being completely ridiculous.

I have played 623 hours and 12 minutes across all characters, 614 of them on one character/.

I had to log in to check how long I'd been playing just to see how much of a social life I don't have. The grand total? 692. Not anywhere near as bad as I thought it was. I still spend most of my waking hours in game unless I'm working though. I guess I work more than I thought I did. hah. My current main, who was made well after the Halloween event, has 135 hours on him.

I agree. This game is perfect when it comes to the cost/entertainment ratio. I think I have almost a thousand hours logged so far, and growing!

Way to many hours and to much time wasted playing this game with many more to come. It is by far the most fun I have had with such little money. Its bar far the biggest bang for your buck game I have every played.

I have always been thankful for finding this forum. People really helped this noob to this type of game. Reading the forums have helped me TONS as well. Glad I took the chance and got the game.

I've been playing since beta and still play for hours every day (unless I'm out of town or swamped with IRL stuff). This is definitely the best $60 I've ever spent. This game has gone into my book as the most fun I've ever had in a game. I look back on the other MMOs I've played in the past decade and the countless hours of grinding, the massive amount of time I've spent Looking For Groups, or looking for healers, or looking for tanks, and it blows my mind how much I used to put up with in a game. When I look back on my gaming life I just CAN'T BELIEVE I put up with what I did for so long. Guild Wars 2 has changed all that, and has changed the way I look at how I spend my free time. It's definitely been the best thing I've purchased in a long time!

Completely agree, by the third week of purchase, I have normally either finished a game or just stopped playing out of boredom. This will be on my HD for as long as the servers are up, plus any paid updates.
