VPN is authorized?

Hi, i'am french,

playing on an European server "Fort Ranik".
Since one month, the ping of a lot of european gamers is very low (like one second betwin click and action). This is probaly due to Cogen and european web provider conflicts....

So for us, the only thing to do is : using a VPN server to connect to GuildWars game server, this will reduce the latency.

But i heard that some user's accounts have been banned because of this!

Anyone know anything about it?

Honestly I think it's best to contact Anet tech support directly, rather than get this info from a forum. People always here about people getting banned, but the real story isn't often told. For example, how many people might be using VPNs to play around and either hack or exploit and then get banned. So we don't know if they were banned for the VPN or some other reasons.

The only real way to get a proper answer for this question is directly.
