Withdrawing stuff

First of all i know this is probally a stupid question but I'm horribly new at this game.

If i go into the bank and want to get something out of it (say Iron ore) I can only withdraw the entire stack. Is there a way to only take a number from this stack?

Yes, hold CTRL while you drag and drop and it should bring up a number box asking you how many you want to withdraw. (it may be a different button, but I'm pretty sure it was CTRL, been awhile since I've done that lol)

Actually you need to hold alt to split a stack, not control. Otherwise Zorac is quite correct. Most games do use control to split a stack but control has other functions in GW 2.

Lol, I knew it was one of those 2 keys, but I didn't think it was ALT cause in every game it seems to be CTRL, but hey at least I remembered it might have been different here

The funny bit is, I almost always hit control first, before remember it's alt, anyway. It's just one of the many differences people have to learn when playing GW 2.
