    TSW went free to play!

Is anyone else going to revisit it to see the changes?

That's a bit of nice news. I thought it was fun in Beta, but as I never p2p haven't given it much thought since. Good to know, I may look at it again or wait and see if any of my friends do.

Not sure how it will match up to GW2 but heard good things about it, not got the time for it myself, 1 MMO is enough for me

Meh, the clunky combat makes me not care about it.

I actually bought the game originally, because I liked the idea behind it and there are things about the game I really did like. Unfortunately, the amount of combat I had to endure...combat I didn't find fun (as opposed to Guild Wars 2) made me lose interest in the game.

What I did like about the game was that it was an adult game...that used you know, actual adult language, and themes, not the sanitized world of Tyria. And some of the exploration quests were quite long and made you think, which is something Guild Wars 2 is lacking.

Aside from that, the rest of the game didn't hold my attention enough to continue with it.

Edit: I just remembered one of my biggest pet peeves in the game. For some reason, Funcom didn't voice the character you play, so most of the quests/or cut scenes were basically monologues...interesting at first, but as the game wore on it became quite immersion-breaking. Why would I want to keep watching three minute monologues, instead of actually speaking myself?

Technically it isn't free to play. You have to buy the game first before being able to play much like guild wars 2.

I'm always willing to buy a game to play it, and if they have a cashshop and if I really like the game I continue to support it. So to me and most other's f2p means no sub fee, even if in this case it is really buy to play.
