Hey just bought GW2 and everytime I go to create my account it says I need to choose a "better" password. But no matter what I type in it doesnt work..
This is stupid what a great start to a game that was supposed to be really good..

Guild Wars 2 has made invalid tons of passwords that have been published in a list on the net. Be more creative. Add more characters. The security reasons for doing it this way are completely valid. Try several words that wouldn't normally go together like ateorangebats .

It's a bad reason to return a game.

As Vayne said... It seems like all the passwords you were trying have already been distributed in the hacker community as known (and maybe too easy to guess) passwords.

Would you rather spend a few minutes now to think about a more secure password or get your account hacked by the first hacker that knows your ID (Name.XXXX - which everybody who got you on his friend list can see) or e-mail?

There are are programs that you can download that will generate and store secure passwords for you. I highly recommend you use one. I use Roboform, but KeePass is free.
