WvW tip when fighting other eles...

Dont use churning earth...I mean, do you honestly think that another ele is just going to sit there and eat that churning earth or doesn't know the exact cast time and when to dodge or knock you down? Or if he is going to eat it, he's probably so bad you were going to beat him spamming water 1.

Yesterday I fought 2 (lvl 80) elementalists at the same time, one DD, other SD...and both tried to churning earth me...and all I did was beat on them for 3 seconds then knock them down and beat on them some more. When I ran out of knockdowns, I dodged (it was a longer fight)...in the end, I killed them both...and largely because I got to beat on them for all those extra seconds and in the end they did no damage to me.

Also, have vigor. Lots and lots of vigor.

One misstep could've made you eat 10-20k damage from that Churning Earth. Two bad with two Eles they couldn't time a single knockdown to make one hit.

And PS. You have 888 posts and I think that's cool. If you post again you'll ruin it though.

Churning earth that high like 10k come after combo's...so I wouldnt have been hit THAT hard. (Im also runing my 888 post count )

But knockdown can be dodged, when I see that ele RTLing to me...I know to dodge last second because the updraft is coming. Also, when I RTL to them, I don't updraft right away in case they dodge...RTL, shocking aura..hit or two, then updraft.

I definitely outplayed these guys, with my dodges, my knockback, my percide armor of earth use to negate knockdowns...but it was still 2 eles vs. 1...I shouldn't have won (and it wasn't easy, but at no point was a very worried); and that's because they played sloppy, one of those things being churning earth attemps when I knew their knockdowns were spent or that I had stability, or had my own knockdowns left.

But in a 1on1 fight, ele vs ele...it's just not a smart thing to do against a good player. Heck, even if you do the lightining flash move, I'm dodging 3 seconds after I see the casting animation.

The skill cap is so high and theres so much room for error it isn't surprising a good Ele can take down any number of crappy ones.
