Just drop some Cat Drops (think thats what they call them?) and kite them, lots of time, I dont have to fire a shot, they kill themselves chasing me around.

Yeah, I don't like the pop'n'run players, either.

My necro loads all her marks onto a mysterious present, waits a few seconds for a couple of them to recharge, and then pops the present. If it contains skritts, they usually die immediately! Some of the other toys scatter without setting off the marks, but I drag them back over the marks while laying down a few more. They soon die, but sometimes the dolls are a bit challenging. It's worth fighting the toys for the extra drops; I got a Lvl 80 gold ring from a Lvl 3 foe in one of the mysterious presents in Queensdale tonight! I really hate it when the pop results in no present, especially if there are no drops from toys. Grrr.

But, like a poster on another thread, I'm wondering why I'm bothering, because most of the items the that can now be bought with the ugly clothes can be bought for a few silvers from the trading post. Perhaps it's just the thrill of the pop!

In WvW the present popping gets a strategic dimension, because some of them are close to the roads and then the mobs attack the supply dolyaks or checkpoints. Therefore, it's unwise to do that in your own lands, but can be a way to hassle your opponents supply for some while, without being even there. And as they are hard to kill it normally takes more than one player to remove this "threat". I'm not sure, though, if they were intended to work that way

I have everything I really want at this point (at least 1 of each weapon skin with 2 slingshots, 2 swords, and 3 daggers), but I still can't resist popping the presents when I see them. If nothing else, they're easy silver in the trading post... though if I have help, I'm still shooting some extras to other people (basically, if I get more than 1 gift, I'll shoot 'em at people). I'm really liking the shocked look on their avatars when they get 'em... they usually don't know what to do and just stand there for a moment after turning to look at me, though a few actually bow or wave.

.....Never let modern day travesties harm the memory of greatness.
