If I dismiss anything, it's your lack of experience within this genre which is pretty apparent. But I've never thought that makes me better or smarter, only that my perspective is different and that you ignore it.
You seem to think I'm trying to prove you right or wrong. Or trying to convince you to change your mind, personally I really don't care. I already pretty much agree to disagree with everything we've discussed previously. The only reason I ever continue any discussion is because I feel like you're literally incapable of seeing things from another perspective, so in turn I offer my own. Which you can take or leave. In the end it makes no difference to me.
I always take your perspective and add it to my own to consider in the future, which will benefit me. As the majority of the current generation of MMO players is "new blood" which started playing MMO's after WoW's release (whether they played it or not is irrelevant, it still changed everything).
After all, I acknowledge that I'm a dying breed of gamer. Especially now that things have been changing so quickly. And that the current consumer base has a different set of standards and expectations compared to my own.
It's funny because people have said about you the same thing to me. That you're incapable of seeing anything but your own point of view. I have, publically, changed my view on certain things in this forum after getting more information. Sometimes I don't change my point of view simply because after considering what someone says, I STILL don't agree. That's not being closed-minded. Being closed-minded is not considering it.
So exactly what evidence do you have that I haven't considered these points of view? Because I'd say you're being awfully hypocritical here.

You still didn't answer my question. What evidence do you have that I'm reading and not considering what is being said. You may think I don't consider it, because I continue to disagree. That's not the case. I consider all comments. I changed my tune in the elementalist thread, or even that you can survive with no gear progression at all, and still be a triple A MMO. Because I've changed how I think, some have called me out saying I don't stick to my guns. So I can't win.
If I stand behind what I say, then I'm closed minded, but if I change what I say, I'm a waffler with no allegiance. It's a lose, lose proposition. I just wish those that said I can't make up my mind and contradict myself, and those who say I'm closed-minded can get together on some consensus of who I really am, because even I'm confused now.
Honestly? I'm not going to dignify that with an answer. It's childish and trivial and will probably do nothing but start drama. Especially since you've already stated that the community has a negative view of me.
If you really do consider and analyze other peoples perspectives, you'd be able to think back to previous threads and say "I can see why they think that of me". I mean, I know I can with things I've said. I can see exactly why you and anyone else thinks I'm just being hypocritical. And I don't really blame them, even if it's not true.
I just think you're a guy with strong opinions and what the "community" thinks of you isn't what I was talking about. Just a couple of people within the community and not a strong enough group to say what the community thinks. Just as the community thinks I'm just a fan boi and therefore I'm not necessarily worth listening too.
But that's the problem. It's hard to see from these forums exactly what anyone thinks. These are just snippets of ideas with no real order. Answering posts isn't the same thing as writing a book, or even an article. It's more of a conversation, that changes all the time.
What it looks like isn't really all that important, except that your ideas end up getting dismissed. I don't like being dismissed as a fan boi or closed minded and I'll defend when anyone intimates that. You say I'm close-minded. It's not true. Even if you think it is, it's not.
