new storyline

I'm getting nowwhere with clown college can't beat the dogs is there a way to get out of this and start a new storyline or some way to increase my weaponry but not long winded please

Unfortunately there is no way to reset your storyline without remaking your character. I suggest giving it a rest for a while and leveling in the world, then coming back to it.

As an alternative you might want to go into the story with someone else, so you don't have to fight alone.

THIS! Adding just one person can make a huge difference. I didn't realize that you can do this until AFTER I was done with my story and got to the last part where it was a dungeon and you had to team up. Then I find out, I could have had help at any point along the way. There was at least a few of them here and there that were tough to solo and I had to do them a few times...so I recommend grabbing a guildmate or a random nice stranger to help out if you find one that you can't solo.
