Zoom Out Further On A Norn and Charr
Hello readers! I am in quite a pickle; I really enjoy playing the Charr and the Norn, but to my knowledge, there is no way for me to scroll out further on them.
I don't quite like it when my character takes up a relatively large portion of the screen (I like them to be relatively small, like the size of an Asura zoomed out), but I have not found a way to further zoom out for the Charr or Norn. Is there any way to change this? I have (obviously) tried zooming out the farthest I could, but to me, it's not just far enough. I would really prefer that I would not have to settle with the two options of "Dealing with it" or playing another race (notably Asura since they have my preferred camera view).
Anyways, thanks to whoever takes their time to read this and respond

As of now, there's no way to zoom the camera further back, and I'm not sure if a fix is in the works or not. I know they're working on camera stuff, but we don't know specifics. I know this isn't the answer you hoped for, but there's really know what to tell if that will ever change from what we know now.

Well as Vayne said there is no normal way to zoom out that far. However, during the Halloween Dungeon event you could zoom much further out and when you finished and returned to LA you could continue with a long zoom out. So the ablity is there in game but is locked at a certain distance. If I were you I would create a topic in the official forums asking for them to allow further zoomout.

The event zoom out is ever present, actually, and was not just a part of the Halloween Dungeon.
Any time when something big is the focus of the event (which includes large bosses in Dungeons), the static distance will pull itself back a ways so you can see everything, but your own distance setting is still retained. See, I like to play 3 clicks in while soloing (or 3 rolls, as it were, as its that little mouse roller), so when these events happen and it pulls me back further, I'm still 3 clicks in from the furthest distance it just doesn't look that way, so I'll often click further in, only to have to click back out after the event is over, because the static setting is what changed, not the actual setting.
Unfortunately for some players (such as the OP), you can't change your static distance at will.

Ah dang, I see. Well, thanks to all of you for responding; I'll be sure to throw this up on the official forums!
