    Dark Souls II

Anyone else around here as excited for this as I am? I'll admit, some of the announced changes kind of worry me. But that doesn't really make me any less excited. So far this is one series that hasn't failed to disappoint. Hopefully the 3rd installment wont either despite attempting to cater to some of the more casual players.

I'm pretty sure this is an exact sentence i said when i saw the video to a friend! But i am also terribly excited but like you say it better not be too casual as i wont feel so badass when i complete it the way i did in dark souls and demon souls. I want to keep my quelaag's furysword ha

I know right? They're like "We're going to make the story more straight forward and easy to understand" and it's like "....why would you do that?! That's what makes it so cool!" We don't have all of the information, it's not clear, and we have to try our best to piece it together.

It adds to that ominous feeling that no matter how strong your character gets, there's always something much bigger and more powerful at work that's almost completely unknown to you other than that it's there.

    That is very true!
I loved the feeling at first of completely not knowing where to go and wondering into areas impossible for my character at that time. I thought Anor Londo was the most beautiful level area i have ever seen in a game. Hopefully they will change their mind lol. STAY TRUE TO YOUR FANS. Resident Evil did not. I do not want to see it go down the same path.
