    Red face Wuzzzzzzzup!

Excuse me for the immature thread title, but it was that or "hey there".

I'm Orly, same name as all my characters in Guild Wars 1, though I'm contemplating in not doing so for the next game. I played guild wars 1 for 4,000 hours, it's the only game I've actually gotten farther than 500 hours on. The other one being Rome: Total War.

I'd describe myself as the, "Multi-Gamer". I play everything. PC, handhelds, phone, console, boardgames. Love gaming as a whole, yet can't play as much as I'd like.

Anyhow. I recently got back into GW1, finishing some stuff, while I get ready for the big one. Hopefully this time I don't get so addicted as last time I spent about 14 hours a-day playing and gained about 50 pounds.

The reason why guild wars did that to me was because it felt like an MMO that I didn't need to feel like I was working. It felt like I was playing for fun. I've tried to get into WOW, DD, AOC, LOTR and such, but never fully got the experience I had with guild wars. I've cried because of it ()

Well that's me I'm very friendly and like to meet new people, so I'm always fun to have around. This seems like a nice community thus far, so I hope to stay for a long while. I'm located in Puerto Rico (always been) so if anyone needs trip advisory, just contact me

Welcome to the forums HolyOrly. You'll find this one of the nicest and greatest GW2 forums around...with tons of stuff to read, new to learn, and guilds to think about joining. So enjoy yourself cause you'll be here for awhile.

Hi HolyOrly, nice intro! I miss the 'before launch' option... I will definitely be pre-ordering as soon as details of the Collector's Edition are released.

Glad to see another multi-gamer on the boards. Sports, puzzlers, RPG's, and FPS's (and more) FTW!!

I'll probably preorder it as well if you can preorder a digital version (i'm not too big on disc copies, they get lost a lot..)

I agree, though just for this game... I'll get the collectors edition. I want to gaze at the cd and box artwork. I've yet to do that in my life, but this is the only game that's going to make me do it. Everything else is digital.

agreed. If the collectors edition is something really special I'll consider preordering that.
