N = Number of that class...ie 9 guardians

ADPH = Average Deaths Per Hour (lower means dies less often, 0.5 = die once every 2 gameplay hours)

L = Lowest DPH out of those submitted

H = Highest DPH out of those submitted

Final Note, the low numbers of each class do make this table fairly meaningless in reality. You would need at least a 1,000 enteries per class ie...8,000+ to make it a accurate and good guide to within 2-3% and no I am not going to do that!


Points of Interest

1. I collected data from 2 forums and by asking in game. The official forum post responses were noticeably lower then ingame responses. Often people actually playing the game had a DPH of above 1 to mid/high 2's, well those hanging around the forums had 0.5 and lower usually. Make of that what you will!

2. Not very many of the Engineer class wondering around Tyria. Only class I shouted out for in ingame chat specifically and only got 6 responses.

Just thought I'd throw in on my guardian over the weekend, he had a mental breakdown and stripped naked and ran screaming into huge enemy zergs in WvW. I don't think he ever killed anyone, but he died about 20 times in one hour.

Haha, thats awesome. I did this for a while before the servers were sorted out and tehre was lots of dominating going on. Nobody would even leave the citadel and just watch from the invulnerable spots. Id get naked, conjure up various weapons and jump into the enemy zerg. Good times.

One time a commander on our borderlands got about 30-40 people to get naked and run around the map to flip supply camps and do the JP...which sounds stupid, but again it was early on, we were getting dominated and we needed something to make it fun and memorable and lift our spirits. It worked.

I was just celebrating making it to lvl 80 on my guardian

Now my poor little asura midget needs 126k more karma (to get the last 3 power/tough/vit karma gear from orr stupidly spent 300k karma forgetting I needed 250k for the gear ) and I think 700 more badges or so to get my last ring/earrings.

Well I can't participate in this. Almost every day I log on and go AFK for 15+ minutes. I do this all the time. This would make my dph deceivingly low.
