    Girlfriend motivational thread!

    Hey guys!

My girlfriend is considering to start playing Guild Wars 2 when it comes out. But she is not totally convinced she will like it, help me motivate her! Post your reasons why she should start and I can show her this thread.

    Thanks!

lol... you're not around often enough anymore, Salx... people think you're new

As for your gamer girlfriend... what kind of games does she like... or more specifically, what is it she likes in games?

My wife is interested in trying it out because we can play together whenever she logs in; there's shared nodes so no one is going to steal her flowers; she doesn't have to worry about people ganking her every few seconds; it'll run on her computer because they're designing it to be simple; the gui is simple and she doesn't need to have to worry about 50 skills; Arenanet has come out saying that they're working at making it hard to create a bad build, you can make builds better than others but overall a bad build shouldn't exist; and most importantly, it's free after purchase so if she takes a few weeks off it's not like she needs to cancel her account to avoid losing 15 bucks a month.

That's at least the things I've talked to her about because those were her main problems with other MMORPGs. Overall the game is going to be much easier to pick up and have fun with versus being a big time sink before you're having fun. Perhaps some of that will help pursued her.

Mention town clothes and the whole transmutation stone thing. Most of us girls don't ever quite grow out of playing Barbie in one form or another.

EDIT: Maybe show her some character creation vids too?
