New PC-Will i need to download GW2 again in full

As title says, i will have a new pc in the next week or so, and since i got the digital copy i'm wondering if i will have to redownload the entire game.

I will have my current harddrive added to the new pc so im hoping i can just run it from there, even though i wont be on the OS installed on it.

The other hope is that i can simply copy the relevent directories to my new pc's hybrid drive for a bit of a performance boost and simplicity of it being on the right drive.

Any info about either option or anything i have yet to consider will be great.
Admittedly my connection is pretty fast compared to most people i know, and the first time it was downloaded within 3-4hrs, exact time i don't know as i had gone christmas shopping. Even so i'd rather not have to download it if i don't have to.

Also i will say if i did place this in the wrong section i'm sorry, the other sections didn't seem right, so i just put it in general.

you should be fine without the need to download anything. You should be able to just copy/paste your .dat file from one drive to the other (assuming you have a large enough chunk of free space on your drive is also a nice easy way to defrag the file). The security checks may pick up on a change of IP address but to my knowledge they don't use your boards MAC address. Were you not holding onto your existing drive (or for arguments sake your HDD had exploded) then yes you just re download the game and log in as normal, the only thing you need to keep safe at all costs is your login details.

This true as I play on two computers and it only gives me a authentication email when I take my laptop out of my wifi at home.

As other's have said you will be just fine. If by chance you weren't going to use your old HD in your new PC you can just copy the whole of the GW2 file and put it on a flash drive or extrenal drive and then put it on your new machine. I actually did this back in November when I got my own new pc.

Good to know guys, thanks for the replies my pc came today, I love it, just checked base temps and its so cool, cold air coming from all the fans as well. Highest temp was 22'c showed by a trial version of aida64.

Unfortunately though I wont have much time to do anything with it until weekend, may only be a day a way but still will feel like an eternity. Will be on GW2 maybe 2 more times on the old machine before this beast gets it.

Wish I had more cash but times are tough, even so i'm still pleased with it. Don't really care about sound cards, regardless which I have still only gets plugged into a 2.1 speaker setup. RAM is cheaper and easy to do myself, and i'm a nvidia man, never had luck with ATI, so without further ado here it is.
