Got the game Today:Started as Theif. Anybody got some tips ?

Am only level 6 right now. I have dual Daggers as my weapon set. Am thinking of going bow or Dual pistols for the second set (when I unlock it).

I unlocked Skills Assassin's Signet and Spider Venom thus far.

Is there a particular order to unleash Skills ? are there certain skills I must unlock cause they're that good are there ones I should avoid ?

I just want some general tips and advice On how to play this Profession to maximize it's abilities and fun.

Recently rolled a thief, so not a expert but try a sword, the 2nd skill has a built in shadowstep (teleport), range 600. Its a fantastic weapon skill because it allows you to return to your starting point, so teleport in from 600 range, if the battle goes bad teleport 600+ range away. Also if you move more than 600 range away, lets say 1200, it still returns you to your original starting point...

Any skill that gives you stealth is good...

I picked Assassins Signet as my 1st skill too btw...

use the stealth, correctly and you can dominate in pvp and wvw immensely. dual pistols and dual dagger are my combination.
