A Little About Beyond Limits
Our overall goal is to provide a fun gaming community that players can call home. We will admit that we find winning very very fun. So our secondary focus is on team building and becoming the best that we can, then pushing ourselves beyond that limitation. That's where the inspiration for our name came from.

As of right now and until further notice, Beyond Limits is a Guild Wars 2 specific guild. That however, doesn't mean members can't play other games and any opportunity to expand into other games will be decided and announced as the need arises.

We're not, by definition, a hardcore guild, though we highly support a hardcore attitude. It's understandable that life comes into the picture. After all, it is just a game. While we play this game however, we will continue to strive for the achievement of being the best and continue to contribute to bringing our server to the top. If you are interested in adding your unique set of skills and knowledge to this inevitable success, feel free to register and you will be gladly welcomed to the future of gaming communities.

The 5 Pillars are the Codes of Conduct for this gaming community. Please take the time to read them very carefully before and during the application process to ensure that you fully understand the standards that we will uphold and enforce.


The 5 Pillars that all BL members will follow

Pillar of Foundation: The voice of the mass. It is our firm belief that opinions, concerns, and questions of all the members of Beyond Limits are the core foundation of the decision making process and that value will be upheld as we continue to progress and expand. Our goal is to provide a gaming experience where the members have the opportunity to influence the direction of the guild. Major decisions will be brought in front of all members, whether they are leadership or not, for the opinions and concerns for everyone affected. A majority vote from all members will be required for any direction the guild takes and every vote will be counted as equal. Leadership votes will not be treated as greater than member’s votes.

Pillar of Justice: The right to a fair trial. Anyone accused of a violation has the right to be heard. Anyone involved whether it be the victim, suspect, or witness will be questioned of the infraction(s) and a decision will be made by the leaders that make up the High Legion. No one of lower rank than Imperator will make any decision of removal, banning, or suspension. A majority vote from the High Legion will be required for action depending on the severity of the accused infraction(s) and statements made by all parties involved. Everyone is innocent until proven guilty.

Pillar of Purity: A clean environment. In order to provide the best experience for everyone young and old, profanity will not be tolerated anywhere other than in their own prospective areas and channels. With that being said, anyone who enters a rated R channel that is offended by profanity will have no valid reason for complaint. Anyone who have been warned and continue to violate these conditions will be placed on voice communication suspense. The length of suspension will be determined by the severity of the infraction and the continued disregard of warnings. Continued violation could result in banning from voice communication and removal from the community (see paragraph 2 for further details).

Pillar of Equality: Unification. Blatant sexism and racism will not be tolerated in any fashion. There will not be comments made by anyone of any gender or nationality that are intentionally demeaning to either gender, skin color, back round, or country of residence in any of the channels whether they are in game or voice communicated.

Pillar of Loyalty: An Army of One. As a member of the Beyond Limits community, it is recommended that you participate in scheduled events, voice communications, the decision making process, and generally contribute to the success of Beyond Limits. Although it is not a necessity for members to use such features (mumble, for example), it is very important that we remain unified as a team. Those who refuse to contribute to the overall success of the guild may be considered for removal (see paragraph 2 for further details).
