I had 5 characters, one of my characters jumped from lvl 1 to lvl 39..lol with a 1 percent map completion.
I'm not sure if I should delete that character...because I wanna start from the beginning..but...
I deleted it, because it was Norn Ranger..instead of Sylvari Ranger....but with same character name
I got a question though, how did he/she get into my acc?None of my other characters were touched.

It's hard to say how exactly they got your information. But you should change your password and make a new email address to switch your account info over to, so you can prevent it from happening again. (If you haven't already). Lots of people have been getting perma-banned because hackers use their accounts to sell gold.Originally Posted by Krissy93
Sounds kind of like an odd happening. But 2 other possiblities come to mind than being hacked; 1) you were so stoned/drunk while leveling up that toon you don't remember (hey it happens) 2) You have your pc set to auto log in and you have a either a roommate your a friend that used your PC and played that toon for you without you knowing.
But to be on the safe side do as Fey suggested and change e-mails and passwords just incase it was a nice hacker.

Well I'm really mad right now...do I start a new account? Gotta start from level 1..........from like lvl 22....or do I keep playing this account I own? And I don't have $80...
No need for a new account. Change your password and set up a free email account only used for this game. Make sure the new password you pick is something you never used before.
One idea, is pick a word, then put the first three digits of your phone or someone you know and will never forget, and put the last four digits behind it.
Good luck with hackers being able to figure that one out. I use a old land line phone number of a family member that had it for many many years, That number was disconnected long ago. The middle word, well its kinda a very strange name no one would guess, Plus its mis spelled. lol.
Make sure your new e mail address has a unique password. I have my yahoo account set up so it asks a very personal question that must be answered right to get in. I am about as safe as I can make myself.
