Will this laptop suffice?
I’m pretty computer illiterate so shopping for a new laptop that can handle this game has been relatively mind numbing with a) being on a very small budget, not really knowing where the better deals are, and c) having so many different hardware names and numbers thrown at my face.
I hear tell that and AMD processor isn't well suited for gaming or, specifically, playing GW2. Though there are arguments stating otherwise. Though it has an AMD A8 processor, wouldn't this still be pretty slow in a busy game like GW2 if it's coming it at 1.9 GHz? Or is that fast incomparison to an AMD A6?
That said, any help and/or guidance as to what will suffice and what just wont cut it regarding this laptop/for the game would be sweet. I’m not to hard up on graphic as much as I am performance(if even that with this system). Maybe a desk top would be better? I obviously wouldn't know…
Thank you so very much for taking the time to read of this!

Well sometimes people overstate their opinion. An AMD certainly plays GW2. If you are trying to maximize FPS and detail, Intel has an easier time pumping out high performance.
For any budget build, such as your question, you want to maximize performance for your dollar. 1.9Ghz prbly wont run this game incredibly smoothly. Aim for 2.3ghz or faster and you also want a good graphics card. The AMD A series offer great graphics processing considering their price. They are actually a great choice for you. The counter budget build for Intel would be an i3. However good luck finding it with the right graphics needed to play the game.
Expect to spend $600+ unless something good goes on clearance or is refurb.
edit: 1.9ghz sounded really low. the A8 should run at 2.8ghz in full power mode and that will definitely get the job done. Make sure the laptop you are looking at says 1.9ghz/2.8ghz

Tried posting this a couple times now. Sorry for multi post:
Thank you so very much for getting back to me. Especially for taking the time to come back and edit your reply. I'm so very grateful! Regretfully, the system specs only show 1.9ghz on the best buy website. I'm assuming they're only listing this processors minimum ghz?
Anyhow, I think I'll be settling for this laptop. Having looked throw comp deal sites and mainstream retailers, this seems like the best deal currently. Maybe I'll try upgrading the RAM to 8? haha Thanks again! You're brilliant!
