    Battle at Claw Bay

Firstly, what a great game. Having said that I'm really having a tough time at Claw Bay. It would seem that taking out the hostile ship with a trebuchet is one way ahead but I just can't hit it. When I do seem to get the right angle and range it still won't sink. Any ideas folks?

When I did that storyline quest I just aimed and fired and after 2 or 3 shots it took out the ship, I don't even think I actually hit it. Though it has been awhile since I did that one, but I think its just a trigger to go on to the next stage of the quest when you trigger the right range and are aimed at it.

The bone ship is at maximum range of the treb. You will have to stay on the button until the yellow bar reached maximum range. There is a large green arrow that helps you aligned the the treb. You will have to use your eyes and line of sight to align the arrow head with the end T to get the correct angle for the bone ship. GL.

Edit: You will have to hit the bone ship at least more than 3 times to sink it.

Thanks to all who contributed. The Bone Ship sank eventually after several tries with the trebuchet and I have now moved on.

Gratz. I don't think you need to hit it with more than one shot as I sank it in 3 shots a few days ago. The first two were short and the final shot (at about 90% on the range bar) sank it.

I actually had issues the 2nd time i did this and i couldnt hit the ship. I think i actually just swam up to the ship and attacked it. I dont remember if that took it down, but i remember having serious issues hitting it.
