I would recommend a class on glass blowing or maybe cooking. The former is of course very fun, but the latter is fun and useful!

I find my shatter mesmer to be really solid and with very good damage output - rivaling my burst thief sometimes

Mesmers have two kinds of illusions...clones and phantasms. If you build a clone build, you'd better be a shatter mesmer because that's what they're there for. But I built a phantasm mesmer and those guys do damage and wear guys down.

This week I transferred servers to another, just to get my WvW world complete..which I did. While I was there, a guardian from my guild challenged me to one on one. I beat him the first time, so he changed his build and we met again and I beat him again.

Mesmers have a lot of tricks up their sleeve and all the time they're wearing you down. But you first have to understand the difference in clones and phantasms before you really start to get the profession.

Next time I'll try not to get those two confused...sure you get free bagels all over town, but all my bulbs are burnt out now.

The Anet official forum news is 50% of IOJ's WvWvW guilds are leaving the server and transferring to FA server, and thereby staying up among the top competitive tiers. Can I inquire are you, bokiz333, and your guild staying with IOJ and dropping to tier 4?

Edit: Apparently there are very unusual high number of guild transfers among all servers brought about by the implementation of server transfer gem fees on the 28th, Jan.

I actually stated a thread about this in the IOJ subforum yesterday...looks like my guild is going to Keineng(sp?) and I will most likely follow. At this point at least 13 guild have left in the last week and more will probably leave. (most of our large guild have already left) So we will have a T6 population but will have to go through weeks, possibly months, or getting destroyed in T4 and 5 until we would get to a tier we could be at least somewhat competative in.

In the end, as much as I want to stay loyal to a server I've been on since the start, I don't want to be in a situation where I'm unable to meaningfully play my area (WvW) for an extended period of time. I'm kinda peeved that my guild (which I really like) picked a low level server that is such a front runner, but I can understand their thinking. After 6 months being stuck on an overachieving server that had a low pop and bad coverage...and having to be responsible for keeping things afloat, we haven't been having as much fun. Escort dolly's, pay for upgrades, build siege, respond to everything, oganize pugs....every once in a while we like to just be a cog in the machine, not the linch pin of the server.

A 15 man guild should not be what makes a difference between your server holding out or your entire map being turned the other color. And that's exactly what was happening. I would log in, see no commanders on and feel compelled to turn my tag on and rally whatever troops we had. I love leading. I love helping out. But when the responsibility of an entire server falls to you (in your time slot) day after day, week after week...it's tiring. Sometimes I just want to log in and kill some people like I used to. Responsibility is great, but it should be spread around.

    Sob story over.

The joke is, you're making a Mesmer. So you should act like a Super Saiyan because they're powerful like that and it's kind of silly.

    And the reference is from:

They are OP...thought I don't plan to use it, the Moa Button is the most OP fing elite I've ever seen. Yesterday I was fighting an upleveled ele, the two gaurds ourside the north supply camp and a lvl 80 mesmer...and I'm fighitng all 4 of them and WINNING...down the ele (not stomped), guards about to go down, mesmer at half health...boom, I'm am moa. One of the guards immobilizes me so I can;t get away or use any of my skills...and few seconds latter of beign focused on...I'm a dead elementalist. I was displeased.

Wow, all things considered it really do sounded like the top two tiers t1 and t2 are truly competitive and draining going by the recent formative history of IOJ. A number of people say CD are not ready for t2 and t1, and CD should remain in t3. Now I agree with such outlook as FA combined with half of IOJ is the new designated superpower in t3 and everyone fully expect FA to go up to t2.

Next week's t3 face off is Dragon Brand, FA, and CD. I not 100% sure but I have a general understanding that Izzy (the moderator here) is in Dragon Brand. Another general understanding I have is she is into combative sports (I don't know why, just a general impression) so she would be active in WvWvW, and, well, now there would not be a 3 way face off on this forum (I think bokiz33 might miss that).
