GWI Exclusive: New Guild Wars 2 PvP Map Screenshots

ArenaNet and NCsoft were kind enough to shoot us a few exclusive screenshots of an all new PvP map that testers will likely get their hands on in February. Be on the lookout for more PvP screens throughout the week… we have quite a few to share.

Nice pics! I like the torches along the cobble stone that you can see up close on the 4th screen shot. All the little details like that look great.

Yeah, it'll be hard not to be all derpy and get caught looking at scenery during the match, lol. Very very pretty place.

That maps looks extremely atmospheric, the fog should be very interesting from an aesthetic point of view. Perhaps even from a gameplay point of view.

While there IS dynamic weather in GW2, we don't necessarily know if it applies to these PvP maps.

The wiki on Weather. Some places, like the tutorial, have persistent weather -- this map might be something of the same, since it's just an instance for two teams to duke it out. You could be right, of course -- we'll just have to wait and see
