    full support char

hi all, I'm new here and to gw2 and I have an important question:
I generally play a full support char in mmorpg to heal and buff mainly cause I like to find easily party and guild..
considering, as they told me, this is a strong "group" mmorpg which race and profession should I chose? cause I can't find any profession that have in the description what I want..
tnx a lot for your help

Well honestly you have a lot of options.

Engineers have an arsenal of cleanses and minor healing abilities, but the healing is very noticable.
Elementalist water attunement (from what i heard) is a solid heal, but the CD is a bit large
Guardians apply boons, cleanse conditions and heal quite nicely
I believe banner warriors apply a a good amount of boons
Mesmers AoE cleanse with null field, passive regen or boon (cant remember) when clones shatter next to allys.
Rangers have traps that AOE heal/clease
Necros can consume your conditions and in turn heal themselves. (i think im going to level necro next just to do that)
Thieves have a support build, but from what i hear, its not really worth it unless your goal is to just distract the enemy long enough for others to heal. IDk haven't played thief.

The thing to really remember is that it's not about the profession/class. it about how you build it. GW2 doesn't have "tank/DPS/Heal" confines. its more of Control (slows, knockdowns and generally stuff to annoy the bejesus our of mobs/ppl) Support (boons, Minor heals and cleanses) and Damage (destroy stuff fast, but get destroyed just as fast.) Again, It's not about what you play, but how you build it.

I play a "Support" engi in dungeons, but i still dish out a fair amount of damage. my job is to make sure no one has conditions on them and if they are about 50% health i regen heal them with my Elixir gun toolbelt utility. I can apply boons as well such as Protection, Fury, Swiftness, Might, Regen with my elixirs (randomly, but can still apply them)

Disclaimer: I have only played engi (main) and mesmer (JP mule) and am currently leveling a guardian, so if any information is incorrect, you know why.

if talking about fractal, the ones that i hear (cannot validate this) that necro's and rangers are the least wanted proffesions in high level fractals. other than that everyone is good.

Others also get annoyed about wanting to do speed run in dungeons and not having all warriors or something to that effect. Personally i think thats crap, but I run with a mellow group of ppl who just like to play the game.

If your set on a final full opinion, My choice for you would be to play a guardian. they have an amazing bunker build in sPvP that is hard to kill and get off of a point. They can do a metric crap ton of support. and the DPS is pretty damn good. They are IMHO they best all around. Eles' run a close second.

Mesmers, engineers and guardians are welcome pretty much everywhere. There may be individual exceptions to this rule, but it's pretty rare.
