    Hi Invision!!
We are Brain Eaters Inc. [Luv] a brand new small guild focusing on spvp and tpvp, and we are interested in other aspects of the game on occasion. People that join our guild should have an interest in PvP. GW2 allows people to join multiple guilds, so we do not require rep 100% of the time. And we do not have age restrictions, but that does not mean we will babysit. You may check out our website for more info http://braineatersinc.shivtr.com (if you apply on the site I can invite you from there) plz contact the guild GMs Rim.9321 or Rotten.6307 for more info and/or invite.

Thank you for reading this!! I hope to see you in-game!

    Dear Invision,

First off, welcome to the Guild Wars 2 Forums! Would you be willing to change servers? You might want to check out Extraordinary Gentlemen [EXG] - we are an international PvX Guild with members from all over the world varying from; USA, EU and Asia. Thanks to our large community and labeled as a PvX Guild, we are holding several scheduled parties every week for raiding, PvP and ofcourse WvW!
TeamSpeak is quite an important factor and thus the success behind EXG! We use it daily and hence, we often login Teamspeak before we are even ingame yet!

You can always check out our website at www.exg-guild.com or read below for additional info about us!

Hope to hear from you soon!

    Guild Name: Extraordinary Gentlemen (EXG)

    Server: Desolation
Guild Type: Social PvE / PvP / WvWvW
    Languages: International

    ATTN: Prospective Members!

We are a very active social guild of players from all over the world who have been playing together for years. We aren't the type of people to give up easily and call it "quits" by throwing in the towel. We won't tolerate PvP tea parties or dungeon mega-NAPs; we play on our own terms, and we have fun doing it.This is not a guild where you'll log in and nothing's going on. We play Guild Wars together, We call psychic hotlines and escort services. Even if you're not doing anything in particular, you can always come on TeamSpeak. This is where we reside and hang out most of the day. In EXG we feel that words can only express so much and that no one has to type full sentences while dodging an angry Centaur. So we feel that Voice Chat goes a long way to get us to know one another better and to perform better ingame.

What we have been up to

    coming soon..

We raid at any time, farming items, slaughter with style in PvP and leveling up guildies. We treat everyone the same, and we always make sure that everybody is involved. We strive for excellence, and we strive to win. We never lose our goal out of our sight,
creating a warm social environment to experience the perfect feeling of Guild Wars. If you can give us your loyalty and the best that you can be in raids and PvP, we will be sure to take care of you and make you a part of our family. At the end of the day, and at this point in the MMORPG scene, would you rather sit in a guild with 500 people, not knowing or caring if you make a difference? Or would you rather be in a guild taking on the odds and making an impact?Up untill now, this is only the beginning. Being a Member of EXG grants endless possibilities. We give our members the oppertunity to grow inside the guild. This means they can get promotion in the ranks. This may vary from forum Admin to Ingame Officer. Due our large community and the high offer of content, alot of things needs to be done. We occasionally add careers inside our crew which helps you develop skills you can apply in real life aswell.

As we have mentioned before, we have alot of content circling around inguild. We have the typical Guild Events customized by our members and our members needs. A large forum with dozends of sections and topics where you can discuss, talk and spam the area. The forum has alot of features to play around with, to keep forum posting interesting. Not to mention our very own Guild Bar called TeamSpeak where our members reside. Also our website who gets a weekly update to stay ahead of any other guild providing the best content a player and member needs to know. (Note: Currently our new website is work in progress, so stay tuned for the big launch!)

Ofcourse we do understand that you might be very hyped about EXG right now. So are we! Due this, we are happily inviting you to our homebase at http://www.exg-guild.com . Feel free to join the forums and join in our community. Ofcourse, while you are at it, post an application aswell so you can join our community and discussions right away!

    Kind regards, EXG Crew

I've been told that you can change server at the moment, without the cost of "x" gems. I'd really like to use this while I can. I've been in VOLT and VKO in Seafarer's Rest for quite some time now, but never really did anything with them, as they weren't that organized etc. The only thing I will miss if I leave Seafarer's Rest, is the guild I'm currently representing: Team Norway, where I've been playing with the other guildies for quite some time now, and gotten to know most of them really well over teamspeak etc.

Also, how many is usually at Heart of the mist? That's the thing I really dislike about Seafarer's Rest. The fact that there's barely anyone playing, and that most players are just AFK there for no reason.

EDIT: I just took a look at World Select, and saw that Desolation is currently "Full". Will this prevent me from joining before the update where it will cost gems to switch? If so, I cannot join, as I do not have a Credit Card (yet), and because I don't really like to spend tons of gold to get gems. (Not the richest kind in PvE).

    Hi Invision,
This is not really directed towards me, but I too like to check out forums.. Any who Desolation should open up eventually. It took me over a day to get into Dragonbrand. & I'm sure you already know that spvp is cross server, the mists not so much, but you should be able to play with desolation people already if they are playing.

Of course I'm able to play with players from other servers, but using /m chat to find pug-teams, isn't that only on the server, not shared across all? Also, when you switched to Dragonbrand, was there a "queue me up" button or something, or did you just have to wait and see, and eventually it opened up for you.

oh yeah I see forming pug groups w/other people on servers would be hard. Hmm you can always try maybe putting people on your friends list from the spvp servers & try to join up w/them later.

And I'm not sure if you are still trying to switch, but no I did not have a "queue me up" button. I just had to check back often. I also had one other person checking for me, he was the one that actually saw dragonbrand open and moved me over.

This is neither here not there, but many people (esp WvW players) will be in HOTM because it has a shorter load screen than Lions Arch. I personally do this so I can get into WvW as soon as I log, but sometimes I will log but then run off for a few mins so I just stand there, not doing much.
