Best laptops for GW2?

Hello!

I am currently looking at buying a laptop, one that can run Guild Wars 2 at medium/high graphics settings. I was looking specifically at the HP Probook 4440s (specs can be found here -- http://h10010.www1.hp.com/wwpc/us/en...486.html?dnr=1).

The reviews for it seem good overall, but I was wondering if any of you had actually played the game on this laptop, and if so, what you think of the performance?

Failing that, any recommendations for good, lighter laptops in the $500-$600 range would be greatly appreciated.

The one that you posted looks decent, but I've never been a fan of HP. They typically like to include a lot of bloatwear and the quality of their items are only so-so. That's from my experience, anyway.

Also the graphics card in that laptop is only bear minimum. It's integrated, which usually means you won't be getting very good gaming performance.

A laptop like this one would be a great choice, imo:

Actually, with all brand fanboism aside the 500-600 price range is just getting into laptops that can play the game.

The link from Izzy is a valid choice, the HP you linked is not a good choice.
If you go HP (I personally like them) and stay in that price range, you would want a laptop with an AMD A8 configuration.

haha, yeah. I was mostly just having fun at your expense. I would buy an acer if price was right. I think Gateway is only company i don't like. Emachines if they are still in biz.
