I believe you can do them once a day, or whenever the daily resets.

^ This. Also, you can do each jumping puzzle on each map before the reset for bonus badges (unless they changed it, I haven't done it in a month or two).

Yeah idk why, but when I found out I could do the jumping puzzles on the other maps, that's when I realized all other server maps have the same layout. I knew that seperate servers that played eachother had the same layout, but the whole time I thought that all 4 islands were unique. Its just eternal battlegrounds that is different and I just found out today. I feel kinda stupid cause I have been playing wvw for a while now hahaha.

In my experience these are not bound to the daily reset but to some timer of it's own - I'm not 100% certain that is the case but I've done the puzzles after daily reset and not had the chests available a number of times now.

How many badges does the EB puzzle drop? (20?) I find the other side BL's jp's to be worth it because they can be done in 3-4 minutes and I mostly do it for the siege, but the 6 badges or so per jp arent bad. The EB puzzle takes too long and is likely to have people camping it. Unless you want to run it in stealth, but the dark room is a pain.

You're better of spending the time you would have spent in that puzzle, with your main zerg (if there is one at the time) and pew pew from the back to tag as many people as you can...you'll get more badges that way in the same time.

This^. Reward chests like these and other jumping puzzles around the world are on their own timers that start when you grab them. The ones in the WvW jumping puzzles are set up to have a 24 hour timer after you get them before you can open them again.

See, I often have the opposite experience. I've been in WvW for HOURS and gotten MAYBE 20 tokens to drop from other players. Even when I've been grouped and doing massive damage. I would much rather do a 15 minute(when I screw up a lot) jumping puzzle for 15 or 20 easy tokens. That's not to say that I haven't had some awesome runs as well, but the drop rate on badges is atrocious.

If you have the Mad Memories Complete Edition backpack(the one that's on fire) you can easily stealth the entire puzzle in less than 10 minutes with practice. The back piece is a light source so even when you're in stealth you have enough light to get through the darkness. With enough practice you can get from the fountain before the well to the one after the chandelier room with about a minute left on your stealth.

A lot of people doin't know about the fountain that's in the entry area either. When you come in go down the stairs and make a right in the water there is a ruin you can climb that takes you to a fountain there as well.

Check out this video from Wooden Potatoes on stealthing the EB jumping puzzle:

Ok puzzles in wvw can be done once every 24 hours from the last time you finished it. So if you got the chest at 5 am you can get it again at 5 am. What I am not sure on is if you have to reenter the map to reset the chest or not.

Once you get the puzzles down they are easy to do. The Boarderlands puzzle takes 5 mins or so providing no one trolls me while I am doing it. The Eternal Battle Grounds puzzle 10-15 depending if I mess up a jump or not or where. It used to take me FOREVER, but then I got the hang of it and doing it is a peice of cake (so long as no one is trolling).

Well everyone has their own practices. Too often people will camp the EB puzzle, or even spam aoes/siege fire in an area you have to land on, knowing they will hit you even if you're in stealth. So not worth it in my opinion...to do 90% of it and then find out its being camped by 20 people with siege. But I also get a decent amount of badges due to myplaystyle...I have about 2500 badges in my inventory and that's after buying a full invaders set, including accessories.

Yeah camping the puzzle can be an issue. Thankfully on my low tier server there are only a few people that we fight that do, and very few of ours do.

Last week I was just outside the dark room and there were about 10 HoD guys in it and I was thinking great.... 1 HoD thief came out and attacked me as I was getting a torch, I killed him easily (he was a boosted up to 80 thief) and the other HoD just bowed to me and let me pass on.

I never attack anyone in the puzzle unless someone attacks me first and I always tell my server mates to leave people alone in the puzzle and for the most part there are very few fights in the puzzles on our world, at least while i am on. I suppose other times of day its different.

I do the puzzle for siege not badges anyways, I get all my siege through the puzzle right now I have around 600 badges, had 5k, but got full power/toughness/vit wvw for my guardian, he's a bad mofo now.
