Just Another Introduction.

Howdy do everyone,
I would like to say "Hello" to everyone and tell you who I am. So what better way to tell you who I am than to tell you a story of how I got to where I am right now. I grew up in a small town near Harrisburg and lived there all my life. I grew up playing games and I first fell in love with mmopg's around the age of 16. I remember first playing The Saga of Ryzom. Great game, but I was young and really had no clue of the potential and complete action packed experience it offered. This would be the year I fell in love with mmo's (Remember the world love ). A year later, I then devoted an entire summer to GW with a friend I grew up with. To this day GW turned into my favorite game. I had such a great experience with this game and really fell in love, , when I began PvP'ing. This was my frist experience of a truly competitive PvP game. After a good 2 years of play and rocking the hall of heroes I decided to move on with my life and go to college. I went to Shippensburg University and had a great experience, blah blah blah. Anyway, I played many mmo's over the past 4 years (Wow, Warhammer, Lotro,...many more) and have yet to find a game like GW. I graduated with an Art degree and this last summer I have moved to Philadelphia (city of love , just saying) to go to graduate school at uArts for a Master's degree in Design. I do not have very much free time but I look forward to playing GW2 when it releases. I hope to have the same experience and meet some new people. Here's to all of you Phillyans out there, cheers!

I will be looking for a guild to get involved with that will not require a vowed devotion of my life in order to join. I really enjoy competitive PvP play and this will be what I am looking forward to in GW2. I do not mean to promote my "gaming resume" but I would like to know what options I have out there. I look to enjoy your thoughts and responses.

Hi Legacy404, welcome to these forums. There should be plenty of guilds in our Guilds Recruiting section that fit your profile... just check it out and see if there's one to your liking.

Welcome to the forums...great place to be and get new info on GW2. As for a guild to join there are plenty here, heck I'm the rep on 2 of them.

The first is for the most majestic of Asuras to make a name for themselves against the bookahs of the land that seem to think just because they are larger that they rule the land. Silly things...dont they realize that the larger the body the smaller the brain. Should you be interested in being an Asura come check us out at the Spanish Inquisition

Now should you choose not to want to be the greatness of Asura there is a guild that is a group that came together back in 2003 for Final Fantasy XI. That is Clan Dragon, they are a great group who act more like family than just online friends.

Either way you choose the group will welcome you with open arms...or if you are a real RP type go look towards Ship Happens...yea...thats right...I plugged them
