Well now you're asking me to speculate on what the queen was thinking...which I can only guess at. I'm going with "rugged good looks, and those baby blues." However, other acceptable answes are "bad ass warrior, decent acent".

I think a better question would have been "How long will GW2 last?". I'm hoping it will outstrip my previous MMO and I was in that for eight years - and this game certainly feels more interesting. I love discovering stuff but I hope I never discover it all.

I dont think it will last that long, maybe 2 years tops.

For the sake of nullifying your biased opinion, I will state mine.

I think Guildwars 2 will be around for a solid 10 years!

Too may variables, we'll see. How are their updates. How are the paid expansions. How to they resond to issues. How good are other games on the market.

GW2 certainly wasn't a WWC killer, but ESO may be a GW2 wounder. As in, take enough of the playerbase from GW2 that it seriously hurts the game. I freely admit that if ESO's "WvW" content is better than GW2's, I will be gone and never return. If it isn't, I plan to play GW2 for many years. (barring something drastic happening)

I think ESO will pull players from all mmos currently out there, though saying so, there will ppl who wont go to a sub fee mmo since they know good games can be f2p.And many will continue to log on and play gw2 periodically with their friends who didnt jump mmos this time. There will still be traffic in gw2 as long as it continues to be f2p. I plan on playing ESO but several friends are just DONE mmo jumping. They will play other games and we'll meet up to play gw2 when we are all on. And for this model, i think anet will continue to see med/high traffic for years.

And btw, all mmos are a dissapointment on some level.

I heard the WvW in ESO is so badass. That was hearing it from an Alpha tester. But basically there is a lot more stealth and strategy in it. Like you know how when ever you take over a location in wvw after you knocked down the other team's wall or gate. And then right when it is declared as your server's location, everything is fixed and back to normal. Well that isn't the case in ESO. Everything still needs repairing and the other team could just come back and take over while you are still trying to prepare. I heard one of the best strategies is to starve them of their resources and make them come to you. And with the new mega server, over 200 players can displayed at once. Could you just imagine the epic battles between the factions. And then afterwards, the faction that won, names one of their players as emperor. I don't know about you, but I want to be the fucking emperor.
