Hahaha, I dig the Baby Quaggan Backpacks. They are sick. But where did you hear Gw2 would be getting mounts. That would be pretty cool.

You should just uninstall the game, I mean, I've forgiven some major things that AN did (or at least decided nor to quit over) but this is probably the straw that breaks the camels back. I mean, witch brooms that people ride around in? What is this - Hogwarts? That's just silly...I mean what's next, you're gonna tell me that the story line is - small group of friends, come together to fight a great evil that has returned from a long absence and there are dragons and riding brooms....wait, what? This is worse that clubbing baby seals WITH baby seals while listening to Seal use an official seal to seal a letter containing pictures of said seal clubbing. It's a travashamockery.

The broom has been in the game since Halloween, as part of the Witch costume. Sort of silly to complain about it now. And Mayito, Anet said there'd be no mounts at launch...and that's all they said. I'd love you to show me one single quote where they said no mounts ever.

Anet needs to add mounts.

Waypointing costs are aweful. I go through 2 gold a day just in traveling fees to do achievements. I would prefer a slightly longer run for free via a mount. I also think they would breath new life into the game. They say they want people to go back to lower areas, this would be a great addition to that plan.

Well one of the devs said there will not be mounts in this update (wink, wink, the broom stays and hints of future mounts are on the air)

What will happen to the combat now that mounts are in? Dodge will change?

Seems the mounts (broom) is just cosmetic, but you can ride it in the open world, not in combat, but that opens another can of worms, can you use the mount to do jumping puzzles?

At a max of lets say 4 silver for a waypoint (Most I've paid is 3s and change from one end of the world to the other on a lvl 80 toon) spending 2 gold a day would mean you are waypointing 50 times a day (assuming you are going max distance and are max level, more if you are not). I'm sorry but either you die alot or you have a really poor concept of travel. I pay maybe 20s a day waypointing. But then I do use the back door to LA.

As for the cosmetic broom or the tonics that transform you into things, you can't jump or do combat in them (other than the brawl with others in cosmetics) so if you really want to use them outside a city have fun dieing.

As for getting mounts in the future, well I could care less. I don't need one, but they have never said no mounts I think all they said no to were flying mounts since they don't want people to be able to bypass areas, but explore.
