Right, and I have no idea what I'm talking about either.

Well since no one knows what anyone is talking about.... hobblespot toadstrudel blummering bob
That would only be bait and switch if A) they promise this before you purchased the game B) it was a selling point of the game C) you bought the game based solely on that point and D) They didn't actually have the legal right to change it, which they do. So it's not bait and switch. Let me give you an example of bait and switch.
You buy a game advertised as an MMO, specifically to play with friends and it's a solo game. That's bait and switch. Changing one feature in a game isn't bait and switch, because most of what they said up front, the large majority is true. In fact, this is a minor point. It was said long after most people had bought the game, and I seriously doubt a single person who bought it bought it based on the fact that ascended gear would soon be available in WvW.
What they did say was that EVENTUALLY, it would be available in other areas of the game including WvW. Now, I WvW sometimes, without a ring and backpack, and somehow, I manage to make kills and stay alive. Some people in my guild do quite well in WvW. So the idea that this ring and this backpack aren't available tomorrow isn't bait and switch. Using the words bait and switch is what's called hyperbole. It's an untrue exaggeration which people use to try to make a point. It doesn't make your point stronger. It just makes you sound like you're whining.
If you want to actually be taken seriously, you'd have to say that you're disappointed that the gear isn't available yet, or that you're angry, or annoyed. But saying something is bait and switch or even lying when it's neither doesn't make you more credible.
This is a storm in a tea cup. A handful of people are really annoyed and they are not only a minority but a VAST minority. It's a shame that you can't get this stuff the moment you want it. It's not game breaking. It really isn't.
Culling, on the other hand, which is much more game breaking, I don't hear any of you WvW people complaining about. If you want to complain about something, the effects of culling are far more far reaching than this storm in a teacup.

Anet doesn't pay me. They have no reason to. There are a lot of fans of the game who feel like I do. I have a guild full of them. Your inability to believe that someone could disagree with you and be right doesn't make you more credible either. I made a post about stuff that bothered me about the game, just off the top of my head. It's just that different things bother me than bother you and I have more realistic expectations of what an MMO will provide, plus I require different things from an MMO than you do.
But I don't go to an MMO fan-forum and make stuff up or take things out of context. You made a direct statement. You said that Anet said there would never be mounts in Guild Wars 2. Show me the quote, that's all. I'll wait here. If you can't find the quote. If you're wrong, does that mean you're on the payroll of a competing game?
I make money very quick in WvW, very causually. I could probably farm money faster in Orr, if I wanted to dedicate my life to farming. Just playing, I make money faster in WvW than anywhere else in the game, except dungeon runs, which I also won't do continuously.
But I've never really heard the complaint before than you can't make bank in WvW. That's not a commonly held belief.

Do your jumping puzzles on three servers a day, which takes a grand total of 20 minutes and you'll have enough siege weapons where you never have to buy them. If you have mutliple 80s, in a week of jumping puzzles you'll have siege weapons to spare.
Maybe you need to find a better commander? lol

Is the extra "S" in the title of this thread bugging anyone else or is it just me?
