This is Nintendo's year to shine

First it was Pokemon X/Y which gave several reasons for ppl to pick up a 3DS. Now nintendo just gave everyone reasons to pick up a Wii U. Just announced, Nintendo will be remaking LoZ: Wind Waker and plans to release it this fall. The new Zelda title is still in development unfortunately. A new 3D Mario game, a Smash Bros game, and a Mario Kart game will all be unveiled at E3 this year for Wii U. Also, a Yoshi Yarn game (similar to Kirby's Epic Yarn) was announced and a Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem game was announced both for Wii U. And finally, the game that really got everyone talking...This game, IMO, will put Versus XIII in it's place (or maybe I am going into fanboy mode here..) But Nintendo saved this for last and I won't even say what it is...just watch and enjoy.

I've owned every major NES system, and I hope Wii U does well. I have played Smash Bros practically religiously.

None of those strongly compel me to get a WiiU, I'm afraid. I do have a 3ds and love it to pieces though (not literally).

I freakin love Legend of Zelda. But not enough to by a wii u. hahahaha

While I played the Game Cube quite a lot with my family, I only really played a few games on the Wii, mostly because I prefer Xbox's traditional controller over the motion sensitive Wii's. If a game came out on both systems, we always got the Xbox version. If the new WiiU's controller is more traditional, I might go for it.

We all like our 3DS more. lol Animal Crossing New Leaf later this year is going to be big. Poor GW2 will no doubt take a serious hit there for a while.

SEE: The Wii U Pro Controller. IT is the same thing as the Xbox controller except the right analog stick and the abxy buttons are flipped. The only downfall is that it is not supported by all games (most though!).

Exactly. I keep arguing with people because tons of people are saying the the Wii U is failing...but it is not...if you google statistics from any website you can find, they will tell you that the approx. 2 millions units are being sold per month world wide. As of December, America was at 400,000 units sold and inching 3 million units world wide. After this announcement, I except those numbers to increase for sure over the upcoming months!

On a side note, if you guys are into jRPGs, haven't any of you checked out Xenoblade Chronicles for the normal Wii yet?? Check it out!!
