GW2 - From the eyes of a WoW player

I'm really sick of the "this game isn't WoW so it's bad" vs "WoW players are dumb" crap.

This one flew under my radar. I unsubbed to Athene's channel when he started doing that "every hour a new video" nonsense. But it showed up under my recommendations. Kinda made me happy so I thought I'd share.

It was nice to see Abraham actually pick apart at the game instead of the usual crap.

He has a very weird voice and way of speaking.

I completely agree with what he says about the game being confusing at 1st and AN needing to add tutorials.

The world is full of pain and sorrow.
Life is fleeting and true moments of joy are few and far between.
Happiness is laced with shards of pain.

They did say they were working on making the game more accessible to people who just start playing. It's part of what they'll be working on the first half of this year.

Yeah, exploring is fun and all, but at some point in this game I was like, this is getting boring. I really enjoyed the main questline, I liked getting to go through the chain of events and seeing what happens next in the story. I think idea of the "hearts", are just kind of lazy, and they were copied and pasted throughout the world. When I go do a heart quest, I don't feel like I am doing a quest. I feel like I am just looking at a check list and doing whatever it says. Questlines are more fun because I feel like I am actually in a story and getting into the lore of Tyria. Guild Wars 2 is a unique experience, just like that guy said. A lot of people like it, and a lot of people don't.
