    Seeking guild

Hey there. I'm Charlie. A Charr warrior hailing from the icy lands of the Norn. Sound strange? Probably because it is. I, a born warrior, look to the bold and honorable Norn life over the brutality of the Charr. While I could lead my fahrar and gain rank within the Blood Legion - for which I was hand picked by the Tribune himself - I choose a far better life than being subjected to a militaristic lifestyle. A warrior should be free to choose the path she desires and grow from experience, not rigid structure and backstabbing cowardice.

This is the character that I play. She is currently a level 36 Charr warrior. Born Charr, spirit of a Norn (with some differences). She lives and breathes by the blade and enjoys company of folk with a similar nature. Normally. Magic is not her strong suit and she prefers to stray away from it. Her goal is to one day craft a legendary weapon fit for her nature. And then maybe a second one, should she choose it. Gruff and straightforward, she doesn't filter much out from her rough speech. Some may find her crude and brash. It's the truth.

For me, I'm a 24-year-old player new to the world of MMO. Enjoying it muchly. I live in Germany, so for you US players that's between a 6-9 hour time gap. Huge, yes. I'm normally on during the week after I get off work, for a few hours at best. Weekends are better if you wish to try and catch me early in the morning or late at night my time. Sundays are normally off-limits. I play tabletop games those days. The server I use is Tarnished Coast, and I do not see myself changing to a different server, so please do not try to convince me.

I love to roleplay. Very much so. Charlie is one of my roleplay characters borne from tabletop gaming. Always a feline anthro. Never human. I also have a number of roleplay years under my belt. Neopets. Gaiaonline. Freelance roleplay. I've experienced much, but seen little of late.

As far as guilds go, I'd love to join one that incorporates strong roleplay into their group time. Relationships between members are friendly and everyone should enjoy themselves. A guild should be steady and stable at their core. I'd be afraid of joining a guild if I knew for certain that it was going to fade away right after I joined. Helping members out with their own quests as either a way of roleplay or simply helping players out with what they are currently doing. Dungeon crawls would be excellent. I've never tried WvW or PvP, but if that is included I would like to give it a try. Structure within the guild is important as well. People should have something to do while part of something bigger than themselves. It gives them and their character a sense of purpose.

So, when you go to advertise your guild to try and recruit me, I'd like to know the following things:

    The name of your guild
Your standing within the guild (rank, what you do, etc.)
    How old the guild is
    Number of members
Philosophy of the guild (what's the guild's purpose?)
    Goals for members
What can I do within the guild?
    Do you do PvP/WvW? Both?
    Link to your guild page/forum

And anything else you would like to add. Extra stuff is always good. The more I know the better for both parties.

I hope to be able to integrate myself into one or two of the guilds out there.

    Go ahead and recruit away!
