Can I change my character's name?

When I named my character with æ I honestly didn't occur to me that ppl might have trouble talking to me (/whisper). I feel really dumb now, of course, because of it... but I'd like to change my name so it's easier to type. Is there any way to do that?

There is a name change feature coming soon to the game. It was annouced a while back along with look changes (which are already in game). But as of yet I do no believe name change is an option. When it does get added it will be a cash shop item you will have to buy with gems.

I'm waiting on this, too. Gaile Grey has been pretty vague on when it's due to be released inside the gem shop, but she's certain it's coming. That's pretty much what they've been saying for months.

you could just try contacting them and asking. your name is spoiling your experience and ability to communicate so they may cut you some slack and do it for you. Were it for vanity reasons like most name changes then they'd make you wait. They do it for offensive names so they can do it, if they are willing is a different matter. Just ask politely and explain your problem honestly, if the answer is no you'll just have to take it on the chin and wait for it to arrive in the shop, but in your case i think its worth a try.
